Micol is a Partner and Head of Climate Science at Planet Fund, a leading early-stage climate tech VC fund. She sits on the technical advisory board of several companies, including Tropic Biosciences - a pioneer in the development of novel high-performing commercial tropical crop varieties. Micol was Head of Impact Investing at Five Seasons Ventures, the largest food-tech impact fund in Europe, and spent several years at Bain and Company helping fast-moving innovators scale with purpose in the private equity and energy and resources industries. Micol holds an MA in environmental economics from Johns Hopkins SAIS, Energy Resources and Environment Programme, and a PhD in environmental finance from the University of Oxford, Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment.
